1. Who we are and what this covers

TechRoadmap.com (“TechRoadmap”) is operated by Tech Bootcamp LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are responsible for deciding how personal information collected through this website is used, including as the data controller where that term applies.

This policy covers our current marketing website, product previews, waitlist, Contact and Careers forms, and related communications. The assessment and roadmap screens shown on the website are demonstrations. Joining the waitlist does not create an assessment account, purchase a service or submit a résumé. If we introduce additional services or collect additional information, we will provide the relevant notice before collecting it.

2. Information we collect

  • Waitlist information: your first name, last name and email address; your phone number and selected dialing country if you choose to provide them; the time you join; the signup location on our website; and an internal record identifier. For new signups, we also record the version of the email consent notice you agreed to.
  • Contact and Careers forms: your first and last name, email, message, and the time and source of your submission. Contact includes an optional phone number and dialing country. Careers includes your selected area of interest and an optional profile or portfolio URL. We record a request identifier and the version of the notice you accepted; campaign parameters in the page URL may also be saved with your submission.
  • Information you send us: your email address and the content of messages you send to our contact address, including privacy or support requests. Please do not send sensitive documents unless we specifically need them to handle your request.
  • Technical information: our hosting and security providers process information needed to deliver and protect the website, which can include IP addresses, request times, browser or device information, requested pages and error logs. These are separate from the fields saved in our waitlist database.

The current waitlist does not ask for payment details, employment history, assessment responses or a résumé. Joining the waitlist is voluntary. Your first name, last name and email address are required to join. A phone number is optional; leaving it blank does not affect your ability to join.

3. How and why we use information

  • Manage the waitlist and send requested emails: use your name to identify your signup and personalize communications, and your email to send TechRoadmap.com launch updates and early-access invitations, based on your consent.
  • Respond to you: answer questions and handle requests, including using a phone number you voluntarily provide if you ask us to contact you by phone, based on our legitimate interest in responding to you or to take steps at your request before a contract where applicable.
  • Review career interest: consider the experience and interests you choose to share, and contact you about relevant opportunities, at your request and with your agreement. This does not add you to the marketing waitlist.
  • Operate and protect the website: provide hosting, detect misuse, resolve errors and keep appropriate records, based on our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable and secure service.
  • Meet legal obligations: respond to lawful requests and keep records required by applicable law.

Providing a phone number does not consent to marketing calls or text messages. The waitlist checkbox covers email updates only; the current website does not send SMS messages.

Where consent is required, we ask for it. Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests are subject to your rights and applicable law. The current website does not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. The displayed career matches and progress examples are mockups, not decisions about visitors.

4. Who receives information

Authorized people working for Tech Bootcamp LLC may access information when necessary for the purposes above. We use service providers to host and operate the website and store form submissions, including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Accepted submissions are also copied to a private Google Sheets tracker through Google Apps Script so authorized team members can manage follow-up. Providers process the information needed for their services. Waitlist information may also be handled by an email delivery provider when we send the emails you requested.

We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections. We do not sell personal information, rent our waitlist, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use the current website to serve targeted advertisements.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our website code does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies, use tracking pixels, or store visitor profiles in browser storage. Hosting services may process technical information or use necessary security technologies to deliver the site. See our Cookie Policy for the current scope and your browser controls.

We do not use browsing activity from this website to track you across other websites. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, including when a Global Privacy Control signal is present. The website has no separate response to legacy “Do Not Track” signals.

6. How long we keep information

We retain waitlist information while it is needed to manage the active waitlist and send the updates you requested. If you withdraw consent or ask to be removed, we stop using your information for those emails and remove it from the active list. We retain information only as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, applicable legal obligations, resolving disputes or demonstrating compliance.

We may keep a minimal record of an opt-out to avoid contacting you again. Contact messages and career-interest submissions are retained while needed to respond, consider relevant opportunities and manage follow-up. You can ask us to remove your career-interest record or stop contacting you about opportunities. Correspondence and technical records are retained according to their purpose, security needs and applicable legal requirements. A deletion request is handled across the website database and the Google Sheets tracker. Records in backups may remain until those backups are replaced and are not used to restart marketing. Contact us for information about a particular record.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You can withdraw consent to waitlist emails at any time. Email info@techroadmap.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject, or use the unsubscribe option in a waitlist email. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to:

  • Know whether we process your information and request access or a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate information or request deletion.
  • Receive information in a portable format where applicable.
  • Restrict processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent and object to direct marketing at any time.
  • Appeal a privacy request decision where applicable law provides that right.

To make a request or appeal, email info@techroadmap.com and describe what you would like us to do. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your information, but we will not ask for more than necessary. Authorized agents may contact us with evidence of their authority where applicable. We respond within the period required by the law that applies and explain any lawful limitation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

You may also complain to the privacy regulator where you live or work. For UK concerns, contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. For EEA concerns, contact your national data protection authority; the European Data Protection Board lists those authorities. You do not have to contact us first.

8. International visitors

The current launch is focused on U.S. users. Visitors outside the United States can contact us and exercise rights that apply to them. Personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.

Applicable restrictions on international transfers still apply; visiting the site or joining the waitlist does not waive your legal protections. Contact info@techroadmap.com for details about the processing locations and transfer arrangements relevant to your information.

9. Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and restricted administrative access. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

This website and waitlist are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact info@techroadmap.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it.

10. Updates to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. We will provide additional notice or request consent when required by applicable law. A policy update does not retroactively authorize a new use of your information.
